You’ve heard the phrase "two heads are better than one." But Case IH is trying to convince farmers that its new 2013 Steiger Quadtrac will prove that four tracks are better than two.
"The Case IH four-track, positive-drive system is the only factory-integrated drive system of its kind in the world," says marketing manager Mitch Kaiser. "It’s very unique – nobody in the market has anything like it to match it."
The Quadtrac can be used for a variety of field applications, Kaiser says, including tillage, planting, sidedressing, spraying or even pulling a grain cart. The adjustable tracks make the tractor compatible with 20", 22", 30" and 40" row spacings.
Kaiser cites adaptability, efficiency, productivity and maximum uptime as the four main reasons farmers will like the four-track technology. Moving from two tracks to four provides a more comfortable ride, too, he adds.
"Customers are saying it’s the smoothest ride they’ve ever experienced," he says.
In the video clip below, Kaiser goes into greater detail on why four tracks are better than two.
