Two series of headers increase harvest capacity. The 840CD rigid draper headers come in five cutting widths; 880CF SuperFlex draper headers come in four.

Bigger capacity, higher speeds and enhanced versatility define a collection of new products and upgrades for activities ranging from haymaking to grain harvest at New Holland.
"We make quality equipment that has innovations that allow producers to get more done and to be productive and efficient," says Mark Hooper, director of marketing for New Holland North America.
Pack on more hay. At the heart of the lineup is the Roll-Belt 560 5'x6' round baler, which aims to boost bale capacity by 20% with its 82" five-bar ActiveSweep pickup option. The baler is also available with a 60" six-bar SuperSweep pickup. Paired with the Bale-Slice system, the Roll-Belt can increase density by 14%.
Monitor options are the Bale Command II (twine only), Bale Command II Plus (twine and net/twine only/net only) or the IntelliView III color touchscreen monitor. Three belt options include premium laced belts for improved tensile strength. They feature low-profile Alligator rivet fasteners for reduced belt bending stresses and, combined with Duralink flexible stainless steel pins, allow belts to follow the crowned drive roll and tailgate roll for lower belt maintenance. A Specialty Crop option handles high volumes of cornstalks, straw, sudangrass and other types of heavy grass.
The Roll-Belt 560 round baler aims to add 20% bale capacity while improving feeding across a spectrum of crops and conditions.
Three Speedrower models (130, 200 and 240) offer integrated IntelliSteer auto-guidance and cutting accuracies from 1" to 8", eliminating pass-to-pass overlap in wide swathing applications. Guidance and steering are hydraulically controlled. A three-range hydrostatic transmission option permits road speeds up to 24 mph.
The 130, 200 and 240 draper models are equipped with independent header flotation. Non-draper 130 models offer unified flotation.
Prairie Special and draper-ready equipped Speedrower Series windrowers are matched with DuraSwath draper heads and use a hydraulic system to add power to the knife, draper and reel circuits. The split system includes two 40-gal. per minute piston pumps that allow the knife to run on a circuit separate from the draper belts and reel, providing more available hydraulic horsepower.
DuraSwath draper headers for the Speedrower are available in four working widths: 25', 30', 35' and 40'. The 40' 440 HB header can be used on the 200 and 240 models and has an optional integral four-wheel transport system. Two cutterbar systems are available.
Two new center-pivot mower-conditioner models provide cleaner cutting, heightened crop-flow efficiency and more effective conditioning. The Discbine 313 offers a 13' cutting width, while the 316 offers a 16.3' cutting width. The machines include the WideDry conditioning system with chevron-design intermeshing rubber rolls, steel intermeshing rolls or LeaningEdge flails that are 22.5% wider than previous models. The 125" WideDry system smooths the flow of the crop mat, speeding drydown.
The MowMax II modular cutterbar offers larger disks with heavier gears, bearings and interconnecting shafts for top durability. For lighter crops, roll speed can be slowed from 750 rpm to 640 rpm with the rubber chevron or steel intermeshing rolls by switching sheaves. A spring-assist lever allows the operator to customize the windrow and swath formation.
The cutterbar is driven from one side with either drawbar swivel hitch or two-point swivel hitch options. A biomass kit includes extra-high skid shoes for increased cut height and longer stubble for energy crops.
The T6 Series of utility tractors adds two four-cylinder models with Auto Command continuously variable transmissions, refined from those on T7 tractors.
Transmission transitions. The T5 and T6 series of tractors from New Holland offer new transmission options. Joining the T5 lineup are the T5.105 and T5.115 models with Electro Command semi-powershift transmission offering 106 hp and 114 hp, respectively. The transmission has been optimized from an existing transmission for T6 tractors.
In the T6 Auto Command lineup, two models with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) are the T6.140, offering up to 143 engine horsepower with Engine Power Management, and the T6.160, offering up to 163 hp. The transmission is a refined version of the CVTs in the T7 Series.
Revisiting a name that first appeared 20 years ago, New Holland introduces the Genesis T8 Series tractor for 2014. It has a longer wheelbase—16" or 18", depending on the model—than competitive tractors. Due to the design of placing the engine-cooling package in front of the wheels and a special sculpted hood, the tractor boasts improved steering and turning. It is available with TerraGlide front-axle suspension.
In the cab is the SideWinder II console. The tractors can be geared with a Powershift or AutoCommand CVT. The five model lineup has expanded to six with the Genesis T8 420. When outfitted with a CVT, the Genesis T8 410 is the most powerful row-crop tractor with a CVT, with a top engine horsepower of 419 hp. The series is powered by FPT engines with SCR for Tier 4 interim compliance.
The Genesis T8 tractor has a nearly 20,000-lb. three-point hitch capacity, and MegaFlow is available for separate remote controls for a low-flow hydraulics at high pressure, as well as high flow at low pressure.
High-capacity harvesting. To maximize the performance of its CR Series Twin Rotor and CX8000 Series Super-Conventional combines, New Holland introduces two families of high-capacity draper heads. The 840CD rigid draper headers come in cutting widths of 25', 30', 35', 40' and 45'. A six-bat cam reel feeds crop to the cutterbar and draper belts. The 880CF SuperFlex draper headers are targeted for use in cereals and grains and are available in 30', 35', 40' and 45' cutting widths. A slow-speed transport kit is available.
