You have two days left to vote in the FFA Chapter Challenge.

Attention Farmers: Have you voted in the 2012 FFA Chapter Challenge? If not, do so by Wednesday. Your vote could be the winning one for your local organization.

Farmer participation is easy. Just register as a farmer and select the chapter of your choice. You may only vote for each chapter once, but may vote for as many chapters as you’d like.

FFA chapters in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Georgia, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas and Tennessee are eligible.

The chapter that receives the most votes wins a grand prize of a trip for seven to the 2012 National FFA Convention, plus a $2,500 FFA Certificate of Credit. This prize is valued at $9,000.

The top 10 chapters in each state will win an FFA Certificate of Credit with the following values:
1st place
$2,500
2nd place
$2,000
3rd place
$1,500
4th – 6th place
$1,250
7th – 10th place
$1,000

Eighty additional FFA Certificates of Credit valued at $1,000 each will be awarded to the top chapters overall, not including those ranking in 1- 10 place within their state.

The goal of the FFA Chapter Challenge is to connect local FFA chapters with their area farmers. The opportunity gives FFA members a chance to learn about different aspects of local agricultural life while building community awareness of their FFA chapter.

Monsanto sponsors the program as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
