John Deere is expanding its line up of 1890 No-Till Air Drills. Building on its active hydraulic down-force system and precision seed placement, the 90 Series Air Drills are available in 50’ and 60’ models.

Both of the new models are built with a five-section drawn flexible frame that features an over-center fold for easy transport and storage, and come with a dual-row spacing package of either 7.5”/15” or 10” spacing.

The new drills use 90 Series single-disk openers that are hydraulically raised and lowered for accurate and consistent seed placement. Active hydraulics can provide from 165 to 400 lb.  of down pressure per opener. Each row is designed so each row unit moves with the contour of the land and has an individual gauge wheel, press wheel and closing wheel.

The air towers are redesigned to make the manifolds more easily accessible for clean out. SeedStar2M blockage sensors are also available to monitor seed lines for blockage.
