Powered by Tier 4 interim approved engines outfitted with selective catalytic reduction (SCR), the T8 and T9 Series tractors are New Holland’s latest introduction.

Row-crop workhorses. Compared with New Holland T8000 Series tractors, T8 tractors with SCR provide up to a 14-hp increase in rated power, up to a 31-hp increase in maximum power and up to a 15% increase in peak torque. T8 Series tractors are powered by Cursor 8.7-liter engines from Fiat Powertrain Technologies.

All T8 Series tractors are geared with an Ultra Command full-powershift transmission. New Holland’s optional TerraGlide suspended front axle provides a 55° turning radius. The T8 Series cab totals 109.5 cu. ft. of interior space and features the SideWinder II armrest console with CommandGrip control lever and IntelliView IV touch-screen monitor.

With five models, the New Holland T8 Series spans 185 to 280 PTO hp.

Standard hydraulic flow is 43 gpm and capacity totals 72 gpm with the MegaFlow pump option. Engine Power Management provides up to 50 hp of extra power. Another option is engine braking, which uses the compression of exhaust gas to slow down the tractor.

Versatility and power. The T9 Series tractors come in two chassis sizes: a 36" standard frame and 44" wide frame. The four models ranging from 354 to 507 engine horsepower feature the standard frame. The two largest models, ranging from 542 to 608 engine horsepower, use the wide frame. All T9 Series tractors are powered by Cursor engines produced by Fiat Powertrain Technologies. The T9.390 model has a 9-liter engine, and there are 13-liter engines in the T9.450, T9.505, T9.560, T9.615 and T9.670 models. Both engines are outfitted with SCR systems. The two largest models, the T9.615 and T9.670, are outfitted with a two-stage turbocharger. All models feature New Holland Ground Speed Management, which electronically manages engine load and transmission speeds.

T9 Series tractors are available with a standard 42-gpm or high-flow 57-gpm hydraulic pump. Hydraulic flow may be increased by adding the optional 56-gpm MegaFlow pump for a total of up to 113 gpm. Comfort Ride cab suspension is an optional feature that suspends all four corners of the cab. T9 Series tractors feature the SideWinder II armrest console. Engine braking is another option. Outside the cab, the tractor features up to 21 halogen work lights.
