The monthly Ag Flash Report from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers has been released for December 2011, which also provides end of year totals.
Comparing machinery segment sales in 2011 to 2010:
- Farm tractors less than 40 hp were up 0.8%
- Farm tractors 40 to 100 hp were up 3.8%
- Farmer tractors more than 100 hp were up 1.8%
- Total two-wheel drive tractors were up 1.9%
- Four-wheel-drive tractors were up 3.5%
- Total farm tractors were up 2.0%
- Self-propelled combines were down 7.2%
