Rechargeable LED Light and Recip Saw

Black & Decker offers four new items. The 4V Max Snakelight recharge­able lithium flashlight has a flexible, wraparound hose and 10 energy-efficient LEDs that provide 44 lumens of light. The 4V Max Snakelight adjusts to provide a source of light where it’s needed by wrapping around equipment, bending into a tripod or a standalone shape.

Black & Decker has also added a reciprocating saw attachment to the B&D Matrix Quick Connect System, as well as two new storage cases—a durable canvas bag and an 18"x8" hard case organizer. The Matrix Quick Connect System is a modular tool system with changeable attach­ments to drill, cut, sand, etc. The reciprocating saw attachment is ideal for general rough cutting and pruning branches.

Reformulated Silicone Spray

AMSOIL Silicone Spray has recently undergone a reformulation and packaging redesign. The product provides protection where light-duty or silicone lubricants are recommended, including rubber, plastic, nylon, upholstery, vinyl, wood, cardboard and other nonmetal sur­faces. Its non-staining formula can be used for water­proofing and protecting leather boots, shoes, jackets, suede and more. The spray leaves a clear, odorless film and locks out water while keeping applications free of contaminants. The new packaging has increased the number of cans available in a case. LED Shop Lighting

Ultra long-lasting lighting needs less-frequent upkeep, and LED lights use less energy; both add to a business’ profitability. GEA Farm Technologies has a new Altus LED fixture that costs $133 a year to operate, compared with $246 for a six-tube fluorescent fixture and $476 for a metal halide fixture. Heated Insoles
