Power Hour: Pre-Report Analysis of Sept. 12 Reports

USDA   pile of corn will have full coverage of the Sept. 12 World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates and Crop Production reports, following the 7:30 a.m. releases.

Below are a few pre-report news items to read before the numbers come out.

Power Hour: Looking Ahead to the September Reports
The markets will be watching the Sept. 12 USDA reports closely. Gregg Hunt of Archer Financial Services explains.

Corn and Soybean Crops Still Getting Smaller
The pre-report consensus calls for USDA to lower both its yield and production estimates for corn and soybeans.  

Feed Demand for Corn Deteriorating
USDA dropped feed usage by 725 million bushels in its August WASDE, and some expect the department to lower feed demand further on Wednesday.

No Crystal Ball for Corn Yields
Private analysts are all over the board when predicting USDA's upcoming yield estimates, and the discontinuity shows how difficult this crop is to predict.
