Prairie Farms Dairy has joined the Greek yogurt revolution.
The farmer-owned dairy cooperative, based in Carlinville, Ill., recently announced the availability of its new line of Greek Yogurt in seven flavors: Black Cherry, Blueberry, Peach, Pineapple, Raspberry, Strawberry and Vanilla. Each 6-ounce cup contains authentic strained nonfat yogurt made with only natural ingredients and comes packed with 14 grams of protein.
Prairie Farms says the new line was added in response to consumer demand for Greek yogurt, a category that has surged in popularity and now accounts for more than a third of the market.
"Our new Greek Yogurt is a great addition to our popular yogurt line that includes 27 varieties of lowfat and nonfat yogurt," said Rebecca Leinenbach, Sales Program Director for Prairie Farms Dairy. "Prairie Farms is known for making high quality dairy products and our new Greek Yogurt will play off of our heritage to delight existing customers and bring new ones into the category."
Prairie Farms' Greek Yogurt is available in retail outlets throughout the Midwest.
