Michelin, for one, is introducing its first VF-class tire for sprayers this year. The D speed–rated SprayBib radial tire debuts as the first and only row-crop sprayer tire to meet the Tire and Rim Asso-ciation’s very high flexion (VF) classification. The SprayBib tire flexes and runs at significantly lower air pressures. As a result, it delivers a larger footprint with more lugs
in the soil, giving the machine better traction and less slippage and farmers a better ride and the opportunity to get into fields sooner without damage. The SprayBib radial is the only high-clearance tire for sprayers that can carry 14,330 lb. at speeds up to 40 mph.
