Today discussion around the country and on the web hovered over food production during the first ever town hall-style meeting hosted by the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance.
Panelists at five locations shared their expertise and insight and answered questions from the location audiences and from those following along on social media. Good Morning America's Claire Shipman did a great job hosting the discussion and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack also joined the conversation. He emphasized the role farmers play in food security and the importance role farmers play in feeding Americans and helping to feed the world.
