As part of continuing efforts to streamline the Woods Equipment Company organization and invest in the growth of the business, the company has eliminated the Chief Executive Officer position. Fred Korndorf stepped down as Chairman and CEO but continue to advise the Company as a member of the Board of Directors.
Going forward, Woods' senior management team will continue to run the day-to-day operations of the business and will report to an Executive Committee of the Board. Korndorf served as CEO for five years.
Woods has created two new senior management positions. Gerald D. Johnson is appointed as President or the Products Division which includes the Agricultural & Turf, Skidsteer and Construction Equipment attachments businesses of Woods. All functions in those businesses will report to Johnson, including manufacturing operations, engineering, distribution/logistics, strategic sourcing, sales and marketing.
Robert Darr, Vice-President of Sales, immediately assumes responsibility for the CE attachment sales team and continues leading the Ag-Turf-Skidsteer sales team.
Also effective immediately, William A. Stuckert is appointed President - Aftermarket Parts Division. As President of the TISCO parts distribution business, Stuckert will lead and direct all of those business operations with all functions reporting to him.
