In 2011, Massey Ferguson will be the official tractor of Rodney Atkins. Atkins will be involved in activities ranging from national advertising to dealer tie-ins, social media campaigns, contests and national farm shows. One of his first projects is “Rodney Atkins' Official Tractor: Massey Ferguson” a new YouTube music video where he talks about his ideals.

Some of Atkins’ biggest hits include “If You’re Going Through Hell”, “Farmer’s Daughter”, and “Man on a Tractor”.

John Deere Slowly Unlocking Its Secrets

Apr 06, 2011

The buzz is in the air for John Deere’s product launch this summer. From what I hear, this will be the company’s largest product introduction in its history. Deere is adding to the speculation and giving a sneak peek of what’s new from Big Green. As soon as the curtain comes up and the media embargoes are lifted, I’ll be posting all of the new machines and technology here on AgWeb.

But until then, check out John Deere’s Unlock website. They are slowly peeling back the curtain on the new 7R series and combines. The 7R series is said to have been designed for versatility and technology integration. Each week, the company will “unlock” more details. You can check it out here.
They haven’t posted anything about the new combines, but the first details will be unlocked May 16th (and there are spy photos that have been circulated on the internet.)
Here is a video that was recently posted that talks about some of the history that influenced the details from a visit with a Kansas farmer.
