Reducing my dependence on foreign oil
Mar 06, 2011
Here we go again. There’s unrest in the Middle East (no surprise) and that means higher prices (gouging) at the pump even though there has been no disruption of the flow of oil. It’s kind of ironic that during the big gulf oil blowout/spill/disaster/etc. gas prices didn’t rise. Maybe the oil speculator fellas were just being kind and caring and putting their fellow man ahead (Hahahahahah!) of their need for huge profits (gouging). What, you think I’m being cynical?! Moi?! Hey, I’m all for making a good living and businesses need to profit and all that but golly gee whiz it seems like those oil speculator fellas have us over a barrel (pun intended and it’s probably been said before but there’s nothing wrong with recycling a good pun). Well, I’ll show them! I’ll cut my gas consumption down by starting a carpool... Oh, wait, I work from home. Wow, that was easy. See, I am already reducing my dependence on foreign oil!
