International 3388
Sep 30, 2012
This tractor is featured for the month of December in the officially licensed 2013 Farmall calendar.
Just like the W400 in September, this 1981 International 3388 is in original condition. The factory paint job on this tractor is in great condition, and the working collectible is extremely clean and sharp for a 25-year old piece of equipment. The 3388 came up in a consignment sale and a friend of owner Jay Graber’s told him about it. He bought it to finish out his collection f 2+2s, and it had been in his hands all of four day when photographed. Graber turned the exhaust pipe straight, wiped some chalk off the windshield, and removed an ugly aftermarket side mirror. The rest of the machine is in as-found condition. The 3388 has been worked very lightly and has only 1265 hours on the clock. Just more than 2100 of the 3388s were built, and this one is going to be retired from service and preserved.
