A recent visual produced by HumaneWatch, an animal agriculture advocacy group, sites the percentages of the total HSUS budget spent on animal shelters in each state. The numbers might surprise you. For example, I live in Missouri and see ads from HSUS about saving animals often, but in reality HSUS only spends 0.0332% of its total budget on animal rescues.
I think it would be interesting to see a donation map along side this one. I imagine there would be some unhappy donors. What do you think?
