Corn and wheat had a mixed trade in light holiday volume today, while soybeans surged 16 cents higher. Exports sales were generally supportive of the grains, and another large week was reported for soybeans looking at both the 2013/14 and 2014/15 marketing years. Soybeans Sell In Pre-Holiday Trade -- What is Expected for Friday?

Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, the market moved in a volatile low volume fashion. Soybeans were higher to start the day but ultimately ended lower. An export sale to an unknown destination did lend the initial strength. First notice for December contracts will continue to cause volatility heading into the weekend. Soybeans Lead to the Upside, Basis Levels Remain Quiet

Soybean Export Sales Pull Grains Higher

The USDA export sales report was the catalyst to push soybeans higher with corn and wheat following suit. All three commodities are running well ahead of the seasonal pace to meet expectations. Supply concerns out of Australia and Argentina could put a bit of a bid into the wheat market.

Ethanol Production Slides a Bit, Export Sales Out Tomorrow

Turnaround Tuesday for Corn, Beans -- Will Demand Support?

A mixed trade was the result of today's trade. Soybeans ended lower and corn ended higher which was opposite of yesterday's action. A daily export sale of soybeans to China did little to support. Soybeans moved sharply higher after today's reports were released. Ending stocks were in-line with expectations for soybeans but fell short for corn. Wheat ending stocks were higher than anticipated. Crop Progress, Export Inspections --- Are Grains Finding a Bottom?

Crop progress was further along for corn and behind for soybeans according to analysts' expectations.
