A new AGCO app for mobile devices allows farmers and dealers to manage their machinery fleets, review historical data about their equipment, get directions to their machines and more.

The free app, called AgCommand, is an extension of the manufacturer’s telemetry service that bears the same name. The telemetry service is an option on Challenger, Massey Ferguson and Valtra tractors, harvesting and application equipment, and fleet vehicles. The app may be downloaded from the Apple App store for iPhone or iPad.

"Professional farmers and agriculture enterprises can increase their productivity through this new, wireless agriculture management tool that focuses on fleet management, vehicle health and overall machine uptime," AGCO Chief Executive Martin Richenhagen says.

Other new features of the core telemetry service include baler-specific functions aimed at helping hay and forage farmers.
