Consultant Lowers Brazilian and Argentine Soybean Estimates

April 4, 2012
By: Julianne Johnston, Pro Farmer Digital Managing Editor

South American crop consultant Dr. Michael Cordonnier says freezing temps in Argentina last week trimmed soybean yield potential in southern Buenos Aires, southern Cordoba, and parts of La Pampa and San Luis. In addition, soybeans in northern Argentina have begun suffering from a lack of moisture during the key pod-setting and pod-filling stages.
