Corn College Registration Open

Farm Journal is proud to expand its lineup of Corn College events in 2011. Registration is now available for all Planter Clinics and Corn College summer sessions.

There will be five Planter Clinics held, and the summer sessions are expanded with a new location in Coldwater, Mich.

Corn College Planter Clinics

Let Farm Journal Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer walk you through tuning your planter for peak performance from the hitch pin to the closing wheel.

Corn College “Classic”

The Farm Journal Corn College “Classic” session provides practical, hands-on training to help corn growers advance their production skills, increase yields and improve their profitability. Corn College alumni ready to broaden their knowledge from previous years are encouraged to attend this session.

 

Located at the Corn College campus, near Bloomington, Ill.

 

Monday, July 18; Retailer/Consultant Session (ONLY Corn College session offering CCA credits)

Corn College “Fundamentals for High Yields”

Aug. 3 to 4

 

The Farm Journal Corn College Fundamentals of High Yields session provides practical, hands-on training to help corn growers advance their production skills, increase yields and improve their profitability. This session is geared for the first-time Corn College attendee and will provide them with the core knowledge of how to use the Systems Approach on their farm. Led by Farm Journal Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer, the event includes general instruction, breakout sessions in the field and an expo showcasing corn production tools. The event is located near Coldwater, Mich. at the facilities of Missy Bauer
