Some of the corn hit by high winds last week has rebounded, and little yield will be lost, reports Bill Bauer, Agronomist and owner of B&M Crop Consulting, Coldwater, Mich.
In other cases, farmers’ corn crops were not as fortunate and could lose up to 30 percent of their yield potential.
Bauer offers his perspective in the following video on the storm that swept across much of the upper Midwest last week as well as some suggestions on how to evaluate the crop it left behind.
