High Temperatures Stress Pollinating Corn

Farmers across much of the Midwest are seeing pollinated corn ears with tips that are not completely filled with kernels, due to recent high temperatures and heat stress.  In some cases, Agronomist Bill Bauer says corn growers are seeing some nutrient deficiencies as well.  In the following video, he shows some examples of these issues to give farmers an idea of what to look for in their fields.

Does every one of your interviews have wind in the mike's? I have listened to several interviews and every one of them is hard to understand. There are ways to minimize that, tell your guys in the field. GTParks
