Father of Ten Wins Compact Tractor

Massey Ferguson held a contest to emphasize the comfort of their new 1600 Series compact tractors. They boast that operating the tractor is better than being on Cloud 9–it’s Cloud 10.
When the contest mailer arrived in David Griffin’s mailbox, he didn’t have any previous experience with the tractor brand, and entered the contest. This fall, a brand new Massey Ferguson 1635 was delivered to his 25-acre farm in Indian Trail, N.C.
Chris Fowler, Statesville Tractor, Statesville, N.C., and Doug Grant, Massey Ferguson, presented the tractor to David and Gena Griffin. The Griffins have 10 children, and David put the tractor to quick use in reseeding the yard for his oldest daughter’s October wedding.
