Four-Axle Tractor at Agritechnica

It was concealed until Agritechnica’s preview day, and it took a big sheet to cover Deutz-Fahr’s XXL 1630. The eight-wheeled tractor was built as prototype by a partnership between the company and a German university.
The 600 hp tractor features a 18F/6R full powershift transmission. Designed as a towing machine–the tractor doesn’t have a rear PTO–the rear loading platform can carry up to 13.7 tons.
