Corn College Planting Progress

May 08, 2009

The site for the 2009 Farm Journal Corn College is bordered with 17 acres of demonstration plots. In fact, attendees will have breakout sessions stationed across the acreage and will go out into the corn with agronomic coaches to get hands-on lessons to take back to their farm.

This week provided the first opportunity to get some leveling work completed and plant the in-the-field classrooms. Here are some pictures:

Our demo plots will include soil density, nitrogen, row spacing, and planter set-up.
