Great! Here are the steps to take.
 
  1. Pick a topic or purpose. This doesn’t have to be overly specific, but you should have a strong sense of why you want to blog and what readers can find within your blog.
 
  1. E-mail a short summary of your blog’s purpose to content@agweb.com. Also provide your contact information, in case there are questions.
 
  1. Once an AgWeb Editor reads and approves your blog idea, you’ll receive an e-mail asking for a short biography and photo.
 
  1. Your blog will then be activated, and you’ll receive specific blog instructions.
 
 
General Blog Guidelines:
  • You must blog at least three times a month.
  • If you want to post a reference or portion of an already published article (for example, an editorial from the New York Times), you must site the source. Since it’s so easy to link and “steal” copy and photos from other sources, we don’t want anyone getting in trouble.
  • Your blog can be activated or deactivated at any time. So if, for any reason, you decide you would no longer like to blog, please e-mail content@agweb.com.
