Climate is very dry in whole Brazil. So far is good for harvest of wheat and second crop corn in southern states, and also coffee is getting advanced.
It’s should be great if we were forecasting any rain in the next few days, but actually there is no rains for the next weeks, and official institutes is alerting for delay on grain seeding due to water deficit.
Brazil is suffering with a severe low air humidity in all regions. It’s causing several wild fires in the country side, reserves and also in the cities along the coast. The whole country is burning and the smoke travels along the continent causing a very uncomfortable sensation in all regions. The smoke keeps the air dry and so more focuses of wild fire keeps starting. Almost all states are under fire alert and many group of voluntaries are submitting to combat the fire. Many wild reserves were burned to more than 50%. Specialists says nature will take about 90 years to completely recovery the damages.
Besides the grain seeding, this drought is also threatening the cultures which should be putting flowers (Coffee, orange…) and even sugar cane.
This year is La Niña, so it’s expected drought in south, and early precipitation in North … But so far no signal of precipitation.
