Yamaha Viking
Yamaha's 2014 Viking features a steel dump bed and a cargo capacity of 600 lbs.

Check out the on-farm applications for Yamaha’s first multi-purpose utility vehicle, which features full seating for three.

Yamaha Motor Corporation’s first side by side vehicle is geared for those farmers and ranchers who need to haul, transport people and tow large loads. There’s full seating for three, roomy cabin dimensions and improved air intake system in the new 2014 Viking side by side vehicle from Yamaha

Travis Hollins, Yamaha’s ATV and Side-by-Side Vehicle Product Planning Manager, says farmers and ranchers are finding many applications for this type of vehicle. "Generally, once a farmer buys a UTV, they won’t buy another ATV because of the added comfort."

Hollins provides an overview of the 2014 Viking:

2014 Viking Specs

Powered by a 686-cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected SOHC engine, the side-by-side is rated for a top speed of 50 mph. The machine’s three-position On-Command four-wheel-drive system lets riders dial between two-wheel drive, limited-slip four-wheel drive and fully locked differential four-wheel drive.

Electric power steering is operated by a separate motor and dampens steering feedback when riders encounter terrain obstacles. Exclusive to the Viking are Maxxis Big Horn 2.0 tires. Other features include 11.8" ground clearance, a steel dump cargo bed that holds a seed pallet and a 1,500-lb. tow capacity.
