Cleaner Cut, Less Downtime with Discbine®

September 8, 2008

New Holland's dynamic new line of Discbine® disc mower-conditioners features the latest advances in disc cutterbar technology: the MowMax™ modular cutterbar with the protection of ShockPRO™ disc drive hubs. These features, standard on all H7000 Series Discbine disc mower-conditioners, ensure a cleaner cut, reduced operating costs and less downtime.

The patented MowMax independent modular disc cutterbar ensures smooth, quiet, trouble-free mowing and fast and inexpensive cutterbar servicing. To reduce operating costs and downtime, the cutterbar is designed with individually sealed disc drive modules so if the mower hits an obstruction in the field, the damage is isolated and fully contained within the module.

MowMax disc cutterbars are designed to run lightly on the ground for less wear and less downtime due to foreign object damage. Thinner, lower-profile rock guards allow closer cutting at a flatter cutting angle with stepped cutterbar spacers that maintain the straightness of the cutterbar for more even ground contact, with a cleaner, more consistent cut.

The individually sealed gearboxes have dedicated oil reservoirs that provide plenty of oil when cutting continuously on inclines. Module drive shafts are dampened to reduce vibration wear.

The MowMax cutterbars have ShockPRO disc drive hubs, which are designed to protect the cutterbar drive components from shock loads caused by impact with a foreign object. The ShockPRO hubs head off the shock load before it can damage drive component s. If the ShockPRO hub breaks, it can be easily replaced in about 10 minutes at minimal cost.
