Updated Estrus Synchronization Protocols

March 8, 2010

Updated recommendations for estrus synchronization protocols from the Beef Reproduction Task Force can now be found at www.beefrepro.info.  The Beef Reproduction Task Force is a multi-state extension group, whose objective is to provide timely information regarding applied reproductive strategies in beef cattle.  The protocols are updated annually and current recommendations for 2010 can now be found on the site.

Presentations and other materials are also available from the Applied Reproductive Strategies Workshop at 2010 Cattle Industry Convention.  The workshop included two sessions: 1) estrus synchronization programs and 2) management and nutrition.

The  presentations are archived at http://www.appliedreprostrategies.com/newsroom.html.  A webinar is also available on eXtension on Beef Cattle Reproductive Cycle, and Estrus Synchronization Protocols for additional information.
