AEM Releases December 2012 Flash Report

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has released its monthly sales report for the U.S. (for the full report, click here)

Total sales are several thousand units above both the five-year average and sales in the past three years.

For the month of December 2012, total two-wheel drive tractor sales were up more than 10% compared with data from 2011. Four-wheel-drive tractor sales were up more than 45% compared with 2011, while combine sales fell by just over 1%.

For the year, total farm tractor sales rose more than 10% over 2011 figures. Meanwhile, combine sales fell by less than 1% for the year.
