Attend Corn College for the South

Make plants to be in Vicksburg, Miss., on Jan. 8 to learn tips to increase your corn yields.

 

Corn College in the South will feature Farm Journal Agronomist Ken Ferrie. It will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Vicksburg Convention Center in Vicksburg, Miss.

This event will help farmers understand the Systems Approach and how it’s the path to higher yields in your geographic area. Ferrie will share in-the-field data to help farmers grow more bushels and better manage soil density, disease, insects and soil fertility.


Topic highlights include:

  • Corn Growth and Development
  • Nitrogen Management
  • Developing and Using Management Zones
  • The ABCs of Crop Nutrients
