Combine Sales Up 30% in June 2013, Data Show

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has released its monthly sales report for the U.S. (for the full report, click here)

Total unit sales are about 2,000 units above the five-year average.

For the month of June 2013, total two-wheel drive tractor sales were up roughly 9% compared with data from 2012. Four-wheel-drive tractor sales were nearly 6% above those in 2012, while combine sales rose by more than 30%.

A year-to-date comparison shows total farm tractor sales are up nearly 13% and combine sales are up close to 47%.
