December All-Milk Price $21.80

The United States Department of Agriculture released its agricultural prices report this week, estimating the U.S. all-milk price for December at $21.80. That’s up 20¢/cwt from November and $1/cwt higher than a year ago.

California’s December all-milk price is estimated at $20.50/cwt, up 49¢ from November and $1.90 from a year ago. These higher prices are helping California producers cash flow in the black

Wisconsin’s December all-milk price is estimated at $21.90, and Idaho’s at $20.70.

The other good news is corn prices. The December corn price is $4.31/bu, down $2.56 from a year ago, a 37% decline. Alfalfa hay is $187/ton, $30/ton less than a year ago.
