Tractor puller David Batliner of Floyds Knobs, Ind., drove to a third-place finish this month during the 2014 Championship Tractor Pull in Louisville, Ky.

His tractor, a Massey Ferguson called "Super Hick", is part of the 9,300-lb. Super Farm Tractors division and is named in honor of an underdog sports team from his high school days.

"We actually had a basketball team that ended up going to the Indiana state (championship)," Batliner explains. "They said, ‘This team will never do well because they’re just a bunch of redneck super hicks.’ We proved them different."
