Is Variable Irrigation on Midwest Corn a Winner?

Farmers in the Midwest should pay attention to technology that allows them to manage irrigation on crops such as corn, Farm Journal field agronomist Ken Ferrie says.

"If you’re looking for a place in ag to stick money or to pay attention to, I think this is one," says Ferrie, speaking about variable-rate technology during Farm Journal’s Profit College this month in Fishers, Ind.
