The GrainLogix GBL10 grain bag loader from Loftness has been updated to include several new features, including a larger 20" primary auger capable of filling 10’-diameter bags at a rate of 30,000 bu./hour.
An oversized top-loading hopper offers a tunnel design that eliminates bag slack and distributes grain evenly. A removable ladder can be mounted on the left or right side of the unit, and a second ladder is optional.
Now standard on the GBL10 is a wireless remote that controls bag positioning. After loading, the bag is held securely with a bag pan, ropes and adjustable tensioning cord.
- swing-away truck-unloading auger with a transfer rate of 11,600 bu./hour
- transport kit
- light kit
- roll tarp by Agri-Cover or Shur-co
- bag loading tarp with remotes for easier placement of the bag in the lower pan
Introduced in 2008, the GBL10 maintains control during operation with the help of disc brakes and SureGrip deep-treaded tires. Machine height is adjusted with a hydraulically adjustable axle. The unit’s use of industry-standard and off-the-shelf parts allows operators to conduct in-field repairs.
Requirements for operating the unit are a tractor hydraulic system with a minimum rating of 6 gpm and 2,000 psi; 50 PTO hp; and 540 RPM. The unit also includes a heavy-duty chain drive and an extra long drive shaft that minimizes the PTO angle.
