Smaller, Lighter, Narrower

Case sprayer

The Class 2 Patriot 2240 sprayer is a smaller lighter machine, but it still features the near-equal weight distribution that Patriot sprayers are known for to help farmers get in the field, even in marginal conditions. The new sprayer is powered by a Tier 4 Interim compliant 165 hp, 6.7-liter Case IH FPT engine with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). The SCR-only system provides a 10% fuel savings compared with Tier 3 engines. The sprayer features a trailing-link suspension and a three-speed hydrostatic transmission. Its design enhances maneuverability in tight fields and features 62" of crop clearance. The sprayer is outfitted with a 660-gal. poly tank and two boom sizes: 60/80' or 60/90'. The exclusive AIM Command spray technology delivers even, consistent coverage and better drift control. For more information, visit

JCB unveils new models and updated machines in its lineup of Fastrac tractors and Loadall and TeleMaster telehandlers.

The 3000 Fastracs are outfitted with Tier 4 Interim compliant AGCO Power engines; GPS auto-steer ready option and Trimble precision ag equipment; a new Road Performance Package and ABS braking system. Larger tire size options and a new fender design help keep cab windows cleaner. A revised chassis improves turning radius and operator and service access. The 3000 Fastracs are geared with the P-Tronic Xtra transmission to provide a progressive arrangement of 24 forward and nine reverse ratios, with six powershift steps, automatic road and field shifting if required and a power shuttle for easy changes between forward and reverse. There are now five models of Fastracs available in North America, including the new 3230 Xtra with 190 PTO hp.

The new Agri Loadall telehandlers meet Tier 4 Interim emissions standards with JCB Ecomax engines, which do not use diesel particulate filters or exhaust aftertreatment fluids. Fuel savings average up to 10% compared with previous models. A 109 hp engine is standard on Agri Loadall models, and the Agri Plus and Xtra come standard with the 125 hp engine. In the cab, the telehandlers feature a new instrument cluster and dash layout, with a high resolution LCD monitor.

New to the North American market, JCB introduces the TeleMaster TM320, a fourth-generation product already available in Europe. The telescopic loader has an articulated design to put the driver higher in the middle of the machine for increased visibility. Attachments turn with the arc of the machine. When stacking bales, for example, the machine provides side steer to better stack them. The machine features a top lift height of 17'. The TM320 uses the 4.4-liter Ecomax engine, delivering 125 hp.
