A new OmniRow Multi-hybrid solution announced this week for planters will allow growers to switch between hybrid seed types while moving through the field, Raven Industries says.

Video footage showing product testing depicts a tractor and planter rolling ahead. At preset intervals, the tractor and planter shift slightly to one side or the other, planting a secondary hybrid intended to best fit the soil profile.

The new service--which can be integrated with variable-rate seeding--illustrates how Raven offers precision solutions to growers, including early adopters and newcomers, says Ryan Molitor, marketing supervisor.
