Pete’s Pick of the Week: John Deere 4255

On July 12, a John Deere 4255 tractor sold for $67,500 at a south-central Minnesota farm auction. This is the second highest price ever. The only higher sale price was $72,000 at a March 26, 2011, consignment auction in eastern Iowa for the very last serial number John Deere 4255. It was in excellent condition and only had 1,850 hours. Here's a YouTube video of it selling:
