Top Irrigation Needs: Data-Transfer Uniformity, Better Efficiency

Uniform data-transfer standards and heightened efficiency are among the top issues facing agricultural irrigation, says Andy Smith, national accounts manager for Reinke.

Advances such as variable-rate irrigation are becoming increasingly popular, and change will continue despite the relatively unchanged structure of the center pivot, he says.
