When Should I Start Harvesting Corn?

The ideal moisture level for harvesting corn is 25%, says Farm Journal associate field agronomist Missy Bauer in Episode 13 of Corn College TV Season 3.

"Run some samples through a moisture tester to get an idea of where you’re at," Bauer says. "In doing that, we have a lot less loss as far as header loss that will typically increase as that corn gets a lot drier. "
