Winter Semester 7 Days Away, 7 Reasons to Attend
Feb 04, 2010
No.1: Take care of what Mother Nature did and turn it into bushels
With almost unparalleled urgency, Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie is fielding questions from farmers across the Corn Belt on how to respond to the challenges left over from 2009 and make 2010 a success.
Held on Feb. 11 and located in Clarksville, Ind., the Winter Semester Corn College is only 10 miles from the National Farm Machinery Show.
Whether it is the task to outfitting your planter to handle conditions where tillage didn’t get done, to understanding how to manage nitrogen across your fields, there’s no blanket answer to tackle these challenges.
That’s why Ken Ferrie partnered with Farm Journal Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer to develop the Winter Semester Corn College. This one-day event will provide take-to-the-field knowledge for the coming year’s challenges.
Attendees with have small group interaction with the Farm Journal agronomic team and will be able to have their questions answered one-on-one.
