Repro$, the University of Wisconsin’s (UW) dairy reproduction site, now has side-by-side comparisons of seven heat synchronization protocol options and four resynch options. The UW repro specialists don’t endorse any one protocol, they lay out the side by side comparisons to show what is involved in each approach.

 

With many of these protocols requiring three or four hormone shots, compliance is a huge issue with these programs. The site also lays out what impact less than 100% compliance has on program effectiveness.
