Bt Resistance Confirmed in Illinois Rootworm

On Aug. 16, it was officially announced the western corn rootworm in northwestern Illinois had adapted to the Yieldgard Bt technology used to control it. Todd Gleason has more from the South Farms in Urbana Champaign:

  But...but..the "Leading lights from Bio-Tech say we should be expanding this technology to the rest of the world...right? But it couldn't be the vaunted Bt Trait, could it? Some Science types think so,(http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/gmo-corn-worsens-drought-damage-rootworm-outbreak) but what do THEY know?
