Eaton Shrinks Engine Pumps, Monitors Hose Wear

Scaled-down engine pumps and a monitor that tracks hydraulic hose wear were among the new products on display this week at the Eaton Corporation booth during the 2013 Ag Connect Expo & Summit in Kansas City.

In response to Tier 4 requirements demanding engine components that process harmful emissions, Eaton introduces compact pumps that provide high bearing life and competitive power density.

The manufacturer's LifeSense monitor tracks wear on hydraulic hoses and alerts operators when those hoses approach the end of their lifespan, increasing in-field use.
