Unverferth Manufacturing Company has announced the first grain wagon monitoring solution to let operators choose whether they want to view harvested bushels on a tractor’s ISOBUS terminal or a tablet.
Known as UHarvest, the data management system powered by Raven Industries features a drivetrain sensor attached to the cart. Through integration with the system’s AccuSave technology, each load is automatically recorded and stored.
Information displayed in-cab includes grower, farm and field data; crop type and variety; truck identification; and bushel destination.
The system can be installed on any grain cart equipped with scales. Its ECU attaches to the cart and connects to the scale load-calls. The processor can be plugged into the tractor’s ISOBUS connection for easy operation. For those using the tablet, closed-system Wi-Fi allows those within 400 feet of the processor—such as a combine operator—to view grain cart data using a password.
A verify mode helps calibrate the combine’s yield monitor in real time, while a hitch management feature ensures grain is properly distributed in the cart to prevent overloading on the front end.
After harvest, data can be pulled from the system using a thumb drive or uploaded using Raven’s Slingshot from a tablet with a data plan.
Options include AccuLoad, which provides the tools necessary to load a predetermined amount of grain into trucks or wagons. Moisture Sense technology stores and converts each load to dry bushels.
