Only a small percentage of farmers have received their 2012 crop insurance check, according to a recent Farm Journal Pulse.

Insurance claims could break records this year. So, when will farmers receive their 2012 crop insurance checks?
This week's Farm Journal Pulse, a text message survey of farmers and ranchers, asked: When do you expect to receive a crop insurance check for your 2012 crops?
Here’s a breakdown of the results:
- No insurance/claim: 39%
- Already have: 20%
- Late November: 3%
- December: 11%
- January: 9%
- Don't know: 17%
Based on the results, only 20% of those who have crop insurance have received their check, while 17% don’t know when to expect a check.
