AGCO’s Winter Farmyard Dash

Jan 27, 2011

If you’re housebound due to snow, or just need a break from outside chores, check out the Winter Farmyard Dash game from AGCO.

You can pick which brand (Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson or Valtra) of tractor you want to take to the wintery track. From there, dodge hay bales and snow drifts around the farm and complete the course twice. You’re judged on fuel consumption, and the leaders are posted for all to see.

Six Live Cameras On Site at World Ag Expo

Jan 24, 2011

The gates don’t open until Feb. 8, but you can get a sneak peek of the the 44th annual World Ag Expo.

Three stationary video cameras were installed on the grounds: two facing East and West, looking over Median Street, the main thoroughfare during the expo, and the third inside the 70,000-square-foot Farm Credit Dairy Center, home to more than 200 dairy exhibitors.

Take control of your view with three pan-tilt-zoom video cameras that were installed on the Median Street sign, one on the west end of the Farm Credit Dairy Center and the third on the roof of Heritage Complex.

Click here for the page with all six cameras to view.

The show takes place Feb. 8 to 10 at the International Agri-Center show grounds in Tulare, Calif, and will attract an estimated 100,000 visitors from 72 countries. The expo has 1,500 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of show grounds.
