Illinois farmer Steve Pitstick posted an interesting Tweet with this picture yesterday. It said:
"36 yrs ago my dad planted corn in a similar spring on 3/25. We got him in the planter today and planted the same field."
Isn't it great that in 1976 we heard about this story in a newspaper and yesterday I read about it on Twitter but the principle doesn't change. From generation to generation, farmers take pride in their deep roots and dirty boots.
